Trapeze User Forum 2014

The second annual Trapeze User Forum has been announced and is the result of great customer feedback, both to Onstream personally and from survey results received after the inaugural user forum held in 2013.

It is clear that our customers are ready and willing to help Onstream deliver superior solutions for local Government. We look forward to showing you our plans for the future of image manipulation with Trapeze Desktop and getting your input into new features and products.

We are excited to officially announce that the next Trapeze User Forum will be held in March 2014 and that details of the event including registration and a full schedule can be viewed below:

When: March 11th 2014

Venue: James Cook Hotel, The Terrace, Wellington

Registration opens 9.00 am, the Forum runs from 9.45am - 5.00pm.

Drinks and dinner follow.

Welcome and opening remarks, presented Glyn Williams CEO Onstream Systems.

Company profile and performance in 2013. An update on new partnerships and customers from around the globe. Key trends in our international markets in document management and digital document manipulation. Meet new members of the Onstream Systems team.
10:15am - Taking The Journey 20 years into the Future of Technology
Where is the future of technology going? What can we expect to see over the next 20 years?

The digital revolution could be one of the biggest changes ever faced by mankind.

Mike Manson, CEO of ALGIM will provide intriguing snippets of what is to come in a fast and ever-changing world of innovations.
11:00am - Trapeze Desktop, a review of PDF enhancements
Trapeze Desktop and a review of PDF enhancements. New features in the product and a look at what is coming up. This will include a demonstration of the advances made to Trapeze and some of the ongoing challenges that the PDF format presents.

11:45am - Update on the National Building Consent System programme
Presented by Kevin Currie. Kevin Currie is Strategic Planning and Engagement Director with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, where he is working on the National Building Consent System programme. This programme aims to deliver consistent, effective and efficient building consent processes. Kevin will give an update on the programme.
12:15pm - Trapeze, The Australian Story
An interactive discussion on how Trapeze is helping Australian Local Councils solve the challenge of moving towards processing Development Applications electronically.

Matthew Pearce has over 25 years Local Government industry experience as both a manager and a consultant and has been providing specialist, hands-on assistance with knowledge systems implementation and integration since 2003.

The digitisation journey of building consents, from microfiche through to present day scanning.

The Onstream Systems technology roadmap, a review of where we are today, where we want to be in 2 years and our vision of the technologies required to get us there.

2:30pm - Product Workshop
Workshop where we showcase the latest Trapeze tools and some existing ones you may not know about.

We also look at using Trapeze over the web, and preview developments for web based access to your images.

Building consents process within Hastings District Council.

Our support team reports on the main challenges that have been affecting our customers and what we have done to help resolve them. Question and answer session with the support team.

Hosted by Pushapander Sharma (Rotorua District Council) and Maria Willison (Thames Coromandel District Council).

Pushpander Sharma is responsible for leading, planning and managing Rotorua District Council’s information management program. Leads the transformation of agency records management processes to address the challenges posed by electronic records.

Rotorua District Council Implemented Trapeze within council for scanning and image viewing use.

Maria Willison is the Information Management Team Leader for Thames-Coromandel District Council. Over the last 3 years TCDC have implemented both Trapeze & TAD (Trapeze Adapter for DataWorks) across the Organisation. Trapeze & TAD are used in conjunction with our EDRMS to process all applications (Building & Planning) electronically.
